UK Grown Flowers

In a drive to support our local growers we buy as much UK Grown Flowers as possible whilst keeping the variety that makes us the best stocked Florist in Bristol. When ordering please ask for UK Flowers in the comments/suggestions box to help us support UK Growers.

Green Wrapping

If asked, we can use bio-degradable Gift Bags, Paper and Raffia gift wrapping. This does not have the same wow factor as the cellophane, but as the wrapping is often thrown away we thought if right to offer, when ordering please ask for Green Wrapping. Also consider sending flowers in a vase, a cost-effective keepsake, as this reduces the use of cellophane.

Composting

All green waste in the shop is now composted at Local Allotment Sites, enabling us reduce our Carbon Footprint and help local vegetable growers get the best from their crop.

Recycle Cardboard and Re-use Paper

Every morning we get fresh flowers in from the local market, many of which come in large cardboard boxes to ensure they arrive to you in pristine condition. These are now collected and re-cycled. Where possible we also re-use any office paper.

LPG Van

Our main delivery vehicle (one of the small Dihatsu HiJets) now fills up on LPG, in an attempt to reduce its already-small carbon footprint. This has also helped us keep our delivery prices unchanged for the last four years.
