🌞 Heatwave Alert – Keeping Your Flowers Fresh! 🌸

With temperatures rising over the next few days, we’re expecting some seriously hot weather here in Bristol! 🥵
To make sure your bouquets stay beautiful as long as possible, we’ll be avoiding more delicate blooms like roses and instead using longer-lasting, heat-tolerant flowers wherever possible in both our collection and delivery orders. 🌼💐
Thank you for your understanding if we need to make small substitutions — we’ll always keep the style and colour palette in mind, but your flowers' longevity is our top priority during this warm spell!

Flower care tips for the heat:

🌿 Keep flowers in a cool room, away from direct sunlight or heat sources
💧 Change the water daily — fresh water makes a big difference!
✂️ Trim stems every 1–2 days at an angle to help them drink
🧊 Pop a few ice cubes in the vase to keep the water cool
🌬️ Avoid placing flowers near fruit bowls – the ethylene gas from ripening fruit shortens their life
